Best Micro Green 10-1-13 Fertiliser
Best Micro Green 10-1-13 is a premium homogeneous granular fertiliser specifically designed for high performance turf areas such as golf greens, bowling greens and other closely mown turf surfaces. The balanced formulation provides efficient nutrition while helping turf maintain strong colour, density and resilience.
With a nutrient analysis of 10-1-13 NPK plus 3% Iron and 0.5% Manganese, this fertiliser is ideal for maintaining turf health while delivering a deep green colour response.
Application Rate
Apply 25 grams per square metre every 8 weeks during the growing season to maintain consistent turf health, colour and strength. For best results apply to dry turf and water in thoroughly after application.
Excellent Colour Response
Micro Green contains 3% Iron, which provides a noticeable improvement in turf colour without excessive growth. Iron is well known for enhancing chlorophyll production, giving turf a rich green appearance with proven visual results while maintaining controlled growth.
Perfect Particle Size for Low Cut Turf
This product features a 100 SGN particle size, meaning the granules are extremely fine and ideal for closely mown turf such as greens or other low cut surfaces. The smaller particle size helps fertiliser settle down into the canopy and soil profile rather than sitting on top of the turf leaf. This reduces mower pick-up and ensures nutrients reach the soil where they can be effectively utilised.
Homogeneous Fertiliser Technology
Micro Green is produced using homogeneous pellet technology, meaning every granule contains the exact same nutrient ratio. This provides several advantages:
• Consistent nutrient distribution across the turf surface
• Even colour and growth response
• Improved application accuracy
• Reduced risk of patchy fertiliser results
Because each granule contains the full nutrient blend, every part of the lawn receives balanced nutrition.
High Potassium for Turf Strength
The 13% potassium (K) content helps strengthen turf plants by improving stress tolerance and cell structure. Potassium plays an important role in water regulation, disease resistance and overall plant durability.
This makes Micro Green particularly beneficial heading into cooler winter months, as higher potassium levels help turf:
• Improve tolerance to cold stress
• Maintain stronger cell walls
• Increase resistance to disease
• Improve overall turf durability
The potassium source used is sulfate of potash, which is naturally low in chlorides and safer for sensitive turf areas.
