Soil Microbe Analysis
Your Lawn’s Success Starts in the Soil Food Web
Small microbes. Massive impact.
The soil food web is a major driver of success in both lawns and gardens. In this analysis, we’re taking a closer look at four key microbial groups: bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and nematodes.
I’m currently studying these microbes under the microscope to deepen my understanding and to help educate others on how important the balance of these organisms really is. When soil microbiology is functioning properly, it plays a huge role in nutrient cycling, organic matter breakdown, soil structure, and overall plant health.
Getting the ratios right between these microbial groups isn’t just “science talk” it directly impacts how well your lawn or garden performs long term.
While I’ve spent a lot of time learning from leading research in soil biology, I’m now excited to be doing my own observations and building real-world insights that I can share with the community. The goal is simple: help more people understand how to improve soil health in a practical, achievable way.
Once a order is placed, We will email out the day we are coming out to pick up the collection from you as well as instructions on how and where to take the samples from. We generally will ask for 2 samples 1 from the better part of the lawn and the other from the section that is needing a bit of help.
Looking forward to continuing to improve the zoo beneath our feet. 🌱🦠
